I just returned from visiting the
Delta Airlines Tokyo Office and I had such an excellent experience that I couldn't help but write about it. I was traveling on business and had a couple of questions regarding baggage transfer and SkyMiles redemptions. The employees at the Tokyo office were not only helpful, but they went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed. I was assisted by a representative named Mika, who was fluent in both Japanese and English, which was really nice. She even gave advice on how to optimize my SkyMiles on my next international trip. The office was tidy, organized, and had a very relaxed atmosphere—just what you want when handling travel arrangements. What really struck me, however, was the way they handled each customer. Even at a bit of a rush hour, I noticed the employees going slowly and patiently assisting each person, regardless of how involved the problem was. It's the type of service that makes you feel cared for, which is invaluable when you're so far from home. Thanks, Delta Tokyo staff! Great job.
